We are seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our team!

Position Purpose:

The Sales Support Representative’s role is to increase sales and provide excellent inside sales support both internally and externally for the REB Power Storage Products, Dealer Equipment Headquarters and Catalog divisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Possess a clear understanding of all REB products sold within the Wholesale Division.
  • Professionally communicate products to existing and new customers.
  • Create accurate and professional quotations for the Wholesale group and Sales department.
  • Verify pricing of inventoried products for quotations.
  • Obtain pricing from outside suppliers on non-inventoried products.
  • Check availability / lead times of quote requested products.
  • Supply customers and internal associates with a freight estimate, orders status and shipping information.
  • Prepare accurate sales orders from customer purchase orders.
  • Prepare accurate component order write-ups for in-house stock material orders
  • Create purchase orders for non-stock items and follow up with the vendor.
  • Follow-up on quotations to check project status.
  • Develop new sales opportunities to expand the division
  • Develop new sales opportunities concerning product lines.
  • Contribute to the ongoing efficiency and expansion of the department.
  • Provide support to sales department.
  • Provide sales support for direct / drop-in customers.
  • Create sales reports.
  • Provide accurate measurements.
  • Provide site assistance to sales team
  • Provide accurate inventory counts of material inside and outside of building.
  • Report to the Wholesale Manager.
Qualifications include:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed oriented style
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite product experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ERP software package user experience, SAP Business One preferred
  • Associate-level degree or equivalent, Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Sales or Customer Service (Representative or Administrative) related experience preferred
  • Technical, Material Handling Systems and/or Logistics related sales and/or industry experience preferred

Position Purpose:

Enter data into the company business computer system in an accurate and timely manner.  Process information derived from a variety of document forms into account and customer records, while reviewing the data for errors and resolving inconsistencies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enter information into the SAP Business One system as well as specific files, forms from hand written orders and purchase orders.
  • Update customer accounts.
  • Request additional information for documents that are deemed incomplete.
  • Verify, correct and/or delete unnecessary data, as well as combine data from several sources before entering and submitting the final product.
  • Maintain records of tasks, manual spreadsheets, job numbers, and CADD hours.
  • Set up manual invoicing terms in the system.
  • Assist in job costing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Report to the Office Manager.
Qualifications include:
  • Administrative and/or data entry role experience
  • SAP Business One software package experience
  • MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-directed work style.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.  Associate degree or higher preferred.
