Responsibilities:

The REB Wholesale/Dealer Sales Specialist will be responsible for channel sales. Responsibility includes developing and executing a strategy to increase sales through existing programs to existing customers. Will also redesign the current selling strategy into an omni-channel strategy to sell and service wholesale/dealer customers and to expand REB’s non-commercial account sales. This includes product and pricing strategies. This individual will design, develop, and execute an e-commerce sales strategy for this business and then manage the business to grow each year.

  • • Working with REB’s executive team, create a new sales strategy to reach the Wholesale/Dealer business, including a phase 2 strategy for MHP sales to non-commercial customers (consumers). Investigate all omni-channel options such as eBay, Amazon, affiliates and other sales platforms.
  • • Oversee the development and launch of an e-commerce website for current product offerings: SMP, POWER, DEALER, REB (Big Book). Establish and manage SEO reporting.
  • • Responsible for managing the e-commerce site across all participating businesses and coordination for all enhancements to maintain sales and a continuous user experience.
  • • Manages the transition from existing manual sales process to a fully automated process for quotes, orders, returns, promotions and inquiries.
  • • Hire, train and support inside sales people on products and processes. Develop a training manual for the new e-commerce website and sales process.
  • • Build and maintain a positive customer and vendor satisfaction relationship in the department through high standards for customer response times, issue resolution, product and pricing updates, adding and removing customers upon request and order fulfillment metrics.
  • • Increases the wholesale business opportunity – through a new e-commerce strategy, customer service and sales outreach – including attending dealer/distributor/material handling conferences and shows.
  • • Wholesale sales team is responsible for answering all sales calls and email inquiries (or website), providing information, price quotes, availability, solutions, credit terms and other inquiries.
  • • Outbound sales activities including following up on leads, contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs and provide solutions to those needs, through understanding product capabilities, specifications, applicable regulations and limitations.
  • • Work with executive management, vendors, and customers to offer new, unique and differentiated products to REB’s wholesale offerings.
  • • Generate and maintain customer database and pursue new leads through prospecting and networking (build dealer relationships) and ensure lead management process is followed by the salesforce in order to grow sales and market share.
  • • Develop programs that will drive increased sales from customer base; including email campaigns, wholesale pricing strategies, social media, and other options.
  • • Working with the executive management team, develops budgets, sales targets, profit goals and manages the plan throughout the year.

 

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • • 2+ years digital marketing experience – prefer e-commerce direct experience.
    • Sales experience.
    • Experience with material handling products.
    • Dealer/distributor or Wholesale sales experience.
    • Supervisory experience a plus.
    • Solid communications abilities; both written and verbal (includes listening).
    • Online sales/marketing experience.
    • Practical experience creating and executing projects and sales activities.

Contractor Sales Estimator

Responsibilities:

The REB Contractor Sales Estimator is responsible for sales to building companies, contractors and developers of material handling products (Section 10) and building preferred supplier partnerships with these companies. The individual is responsible for estimating and managing construction projects from estimating through installation and ongoing service and support.

  • • Identifies prospective construction and building companies (building permit databases) and creates a prospecting list and outreach plan to call on and provide product and services information to appropriate contacts. Participates in contractor / builder and material handling conferences and shows as appropriate.
    • Regularly calls on existing REB contractor and builder customers to support existing projects, service previous projects, deliver new product information and review upcoming customer requirements.
    • Prepare thorough, accurate and timely estimates for contractor’s, including preparing bid documents and clear written proposals and correspondence.
    • Maintain a master schedule of all contractor sales projects, identify successful bids and monitor material orders and installation dates.
    • Creates take-offs and bids by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents. Visits site as required.
    • Work with project management team as needed to evaluate or provide drawings, identify additional components, compute costs necessary for the successful completion of the job.
    • Coordinates with REB project operations installation requirements, ensures materials are on site, problems are resolved, and work is complete on time – managing the customer relationship through successful completion.
    • Executes contract agreements, manages change orders as necessary,
    • Actively strives to improve customer satisfaction, providing on-time delivery, customer quality expectations and cost estimates. Proactively communicates project updates meets and exceeds commitments made to customers.

 

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • • 3+ general building industry experience- construction, remodeling, building supply.
    • Building materials procurement and estimating experience.
    • Ability to read blueprints, specifications and create product take-offs.
    • Project management, sales and/or customer service experience.
    • Solid communications abilities; both written and verbal (including listening).
    • Material handling product knowledge; Section 10 – lockers, shelving.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & experience and estimating tools.

Sales Representative/Account Executive

Responsibilities:

The REB Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, prospecting, acquiring, supporting and growing the Industrial customer accounts and new business opportunities for sales of REBs products and services, within an assigned target industry or geography. Responsibilities include presenting to companies, preparing take-offs / proposals / quotes, negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure. Individual has and maintains a strong knowledge of storage systems, material handling products, and industry requirements and solutions. Maintains deep account relationships throughout and after the sale.

  • • Generates sales with new and existing customers to meet designated sales goals and ensures the sales and delivery of products and services.
    •  Manages assigned accounts, increasing sales in those accounts and preparing appropriate sales information of products/applications and support/training information for prospective customers.
    • Conducts sales presentations, manages contract negotiations, and oversees the sales contract process.
    • Call/visit prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, budgets, purchasing criteria and create a customer supplier relationship.
    • Work closely with project operations to provide the necessary information for CAD dept. to develop necessary drawings, costs requirements, etc. for client presentations.
    • Prepare sales quote information for customers.
    •  Assist project managers with proper installation of product, procuring building permits and obtaining stamped ‘sub-contracted’ engineering approvals. Review the deliverables prepared by the REB internal teams before passing onto client.
    •  Cultivates long term relationships with client base by partnering to solve customer problems and builds new industry prospects using prospecting activities.
    • Supports business and marketing initiatives such as lead generation programs, attending appropriate tradeshows or industry customer events and promoting services.

Manager (Director) Sales

Responsibilities:

The REB Manager (Director), Sales will provide both the direction and plan for the company’s national and international sales function for the Industrial and Wholesale businesses selling storage systems, equipment, material handling products and installation and repair services. The role is to develop new business opportunities, grow existing business segments, grow existing customers and deepen account relationships, and provide tools and processes to manage a national sales force.  The Manager possesses deep functional knowledge of sales and material handling, warehousing and logistics solutions in order to provide direction, sell to C-level, develop and implement programs and support the sales force with the sales process.

  • • Working with REB’s executive team, establishes annual sales goals, from product and account sales forecasts for the businesses and for individual sales representatives. Tracks the business and provides monthly sales reports to management and to the sales team.
    • Hire, train, and manage the sales team of System Sales Representatives, Sales Executives, and Inside Sales Support teams through planning, processes, sales development (coaching & training), and people development (objectives & performance reviews) to deliver the annual sales goals each year.
    • Accompany sales representatives on sales calls to provide technical and solutions support. Attends conferences and shows. Participates in corporate meetings representing sales.
    • Work with the business development and the sales force, identify market opportunities and generate sales leads through prospecting, and networking. Closely tracks competitors and trends that affect products, sales, and market positions.
    • Work closely with project operations to develop a customer focus dedicated to meeting and surpassing expectations and requirements of customers and to do so profitability. Keeps a pulse on customer issues and builds effective relationships.
    • Work with resources to create sales reporting and analysis from SAP. Responsible for improving business inputs in order to create more business insight and accurate monthly sales reports.

    • In conjunction with business development and marketing, create market and industry segmentation platforms in order to refine product/price/target strategy, and provide a go-to-market plans for targeted customer segments.
    • Work with management, vendors, and customers to bring unique and differentiated solutions to market.
    • Generate and pursue leads through prospecting and networking and ensure lead management process is followed by the salesforce in order to grow sales and market share.
    • Develop programs that will derive increased value from customer base; including invitations to REB hosted events, wholesale pricing strategies, cross sell / up sell programs, and solutions & services collateral.
    • Provide input to the ongoing development of company website including: implementing programs that drive awareness of and traffic to the site. Contribute content, photos and customer news.
