Responsibilities

The REB Inside Sales/Customer Service Specialist builds and maintains excellent relationships with customers and vendors throughout the sales process; responding to inquiries and quote requests, providing information, processing orders, follow-up, and resolving customer’s issues. Works closely with sales representatives to provide sales support activities. Ensures that each customer has an exceptional positive experience with REB.

 • Answers incoming daily volume of calls, answering callers’ questions or forwarding the call to the appropriate person within REB
• Resolves customer issues; processing orders, tracking and tracing shipments, processing returns or damaged shipments by working through other REB departments or vendors as needed.
• Manages claims with freight companies and customers.
• Create proposals, obtain vendor pricing and write up sales and purchase orders.
• Efficiently and accurately processes new orders using data entry.
• Receive, process, and respond to inquiries about products, prices, availability, order status and changes.
• Ensure that customer issue was resolved, regularly checks in with customers by calling or emailing status updates and follow through completely every time.
• Projects knowledge of customer’s needs / industry.
• Processes customer inquiries about shipping information.
• Keeps customers informed regarding order status, tracking shipments, and identifying late shipments by working closely with REB’s warehouse department and purchasing agent.
• Responds to customer calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Resolves problems in the best interest of both the customer and REB.
•  Fosters long-term relationships with the customer by going the extra mile to meet their expectations.
• Continually seeks technical and product knowledge in order to stay up to date on storage and material handling products and services.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements


Requires excellent communication skills, sales oriented, and a positive outgoing attitude to customers.
• Demonstrates excellent computer skills and customer service skills when answering the phone, emailing or otherwise interacting with the customer.
• Be able to accurately type and use computers and data base systems (like SAP Business One or Excel).
• Be able to effectively navigate the internet; ability to use search engines is needed.
• Must have customer service experience and experience with material handling solutions a plus.

Responsibilities

The REB Rack Inspector and Surveyor is responsible for Rack Remediation inspections and existing building measurements. Inspections will include identifying all damaged rack and rack components for upgrades and safety issues that need to be rectified. Surveying will include measuring for next phase or new phase of rack including identifying any obstructions.

• Identify and record all damaged rack and rack components.
• Properly mark location of damage on floor plan.
• Review facility for safety infractions related to racking such as proper and sufficient fall protection is in place and note any items not in accordance with (ANSI/RMI) rack standards.
• Obtain measurements for replacement parts.
• Measure building for new or next phase of rack; verify accuracy of current drawings, identify obstructions that will interfere with new rack installation.
• Identifies location of elevators, stairs and other openings and structures that may affect the new rack layout or installation.
• Takes photos of existing damaged rack, existing rack in vicinity and of areas of the building where new rack is planned. Submits photos for job files.
• Identify existing rack type for connection and rack components for consistency with new rack.
• Submits notes, marked up drawings and pictures to Director of Engineering for processing quote request.
• Communicate clearly with internal REB project management and other departments.
• Assist Director of Project Management with any special projects as required.
• Continually look for ways to improve process and determine better practices.
• Utilize and implement electronic tools to improve communication and efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ field experience in facility construction and specifically racking systems

Associates Degree or equivalent

Strong written, verbal and listening skills

Good mathematical and analytical skills

Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and MS Project or other PMS (expense reports, resource tracking)

80% travel required

Flexibility to work over 40 hours per week when work load necessitates

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

The REB Project Engineer is responsible for providing support to sales by evaluating customer requirements for structural racks and recommending products and services for the project.

Design material handling systems, primarily records storage systems including; taking field dimensions (as needed), creating preliminary layouts (plan and elevation views), calculating storage capacity, determining the project timeline / phases, and updating building drawing based on field dimensions.

Develop accurate bills of material (BOM); includes sizing all structural members.

Prepare permit and installation drawings working with PM.

Recommend permit requirements for fire protection and seismic calculations, life safety requirements, and other relevant requirements.

Support proposal generation, sales processes and accompany sales staff on customer calls to provide technical expertise including; take-offs, reports, freight and installation quotes.

Review open projects with Director.

Manage administration of projects and contribute to developing new and improved processes.

Communicate clearly with management, sales, accounting, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.

Work on several projects simultaneously, in a fast paced environment with daily deadlines.

Responsibilities
The REB Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, prospecting, acquiring, supporting and growing the Industrial customer accounts and new business opportunities for sales of REBs products and services, within an assigned target industry or geography. Responsibilities include responding to leads, presenting to companies, preparing take-offs / proposals / quotes, negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure. Individual has and maintains a strong knowledge of storage systems (racking, shelving, mezzanines), material handling products, and industry requirements and solutions. Maintains deep account relationships throughout and after the sale.

Follows up on regular leads and generates sales with new and existing customers to meet designated sales goals and ensures the sales and delivery of products and services.

Manages assigned accounts, increasing sales in those accounts and preparing appropriate sales information of products/applications and support/training information for prospective customers.

Conducts sales presentations, manages contract negotiations, and oversees the sales contract process.

Call/visit prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, budgets, purchasing criteria and create a customer supplier relationship.

Work closely with project operations to provide the necessary information for CAD dept. to develop necessary drawings, costs requirements, etc. for client presentations.

Prepare sales quote information for customers.

Assist project managers with proper installation of product, procuring building permits and obtaining stamped ‘sub-contracted’ engineering approvals. Review the deliverables prepared by the REB internal teams before passing onto client.

Cultivates long term relationships with client base by partnering to solve customer problems and builds new industry prospects using prospecting activities.

Supports business and marketing initiatives such as lead generation programs, attending appropriate tradeshows or industry customer events and promoting services.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
3+ years industrial equipment sales: storage, warehousing, or logistics sales experience – systems, products or services. Or equivalent experience in related field or related products.

Sales or sales support experience selling a technical product beneficial.

Hard-working, motivated and results-driven.

Solid communications abilities; both written and verbal (including listening).

Knowledge of professional selling techniques; presentations, proposals, quotes and account

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel.
