Lori Palmer Featured in Material Handling Wholesaler
REB Storage Systems International is proud to announce that President Lori Palmer is featured in Material Handling Wholesaler’s “Salute to Women in Material Handling” feature in the publication’s October issue.
The article offers a look at Lori’s more than four decades in the material handling industry, her leadership journey, and the experiences that have shaped her approach to both the industry and leadership. It also looks ahead to Lori’s upcoming role as Chair of the MHEDA Board of Directors in 2027.
More Than Four Decades in Material Handling
Lori began her career with REB in 1982 and has spent more than 40 years working in and contributing to the material handling industry. Over that time, she has seen significant changes in the industry, from evolving warehouse operations and technologies to the growing importance of automation and new approaches to supply chain management.
Throughout her career, Lori has remained actively involved in the industry beyond her role at REB. Her involvement with the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) has included serving on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors, chairing the Storage & Handling Business Community, and serving as Convention Chair in 2026.
In 2027, Lori will take on another significant leadership role when she becomes Chair of the MHEDA Board of Directors.
The Value of Relationships
While technology continues to change the way the material handling industry operates, Lori believes one thing remains constant: the importance of relationships.
In the Material Handling Wholesaler feature, Lori discusses the value of networking and the connections she has built throughout her career. For her, involvement in the industry has never been solely about products, systems, or technology. It is also about the people behind them and the relationships developed along the way.
That perspective reflects a core REB value: investing in lasting partnerships that drive mutual growth.
Relationships are central to how REB approaches its work with customers, suppliers, employees, and industry partners. By building long-term partnerships rather than focusing solely on individual projects, REB strives to create value that extends beyond the immediate solution.
REB is proud to see Lori’s experience, leadership, and perspective recognized by Material Handling Wholesaler and looks forward to seeing her continue to contribute to the material handling community in the years ahead.
