Opportunity – A Letter From REB’s President
As we enter a new year, it is an exciting time to look ahead at opportunities in 2018. Professional and personal growth are important to employees, and providing the right opportunities in your company will foster employee engagement, increase employee productivity, retention and morale.
Effective opportunities don’t always have to be monetary incentives. Encouraging professional development through things such as mentoring programs provides the opportunity to learn and grow within a company. Offering more significant job titles, appointing more responsibilities, and workshops and conferences are just several other options to create meaningful opportunity for employees.
Encouraging employees to pursue personal goals will not only help develop a sense of fulfillment, it will also increase productivity and benefit the bottom line. Healthy lifestyle challenges, team sports leagues or similar wellness opportunities can help employees meet personal goals while building teamwork or boosting positivity in the workplace.
