Setting Goals and Crushing Them – A Letter From REB’s President
At the start of the new year, it’s easy to write down the goals you want to achieve throughout the course of the year. The hard part is trying to establish a plan or outline on how to accomplish them.
When goals are written down and posted around the office, it serves as a reminder of what the company is working towards in 2019. I find that being reminded of what goals are set, helps me work more diligently to accomplish them.
In addition to writing down goals for the year, REB encourages all departments to have monthly or quarterly meetings to help keep track of progress. This allows each department to check in and make sure everyone is staying on pace to meet deadlines set by our customers. Scheduling meetings to track progress not only helps keep communication open within each department but also company-wide.
For 2019, REB set forth goals to increase awareness and create more lead generation within several of our industries outside of our niche. This includes becoming more involved in industry-related networking opportunities, forums and trade shows. We encourage our employees to attend these industry events and to increase professional development and build relationships with existing and new customers.
