REB Announces Project SOAR in Collaboration with Texas A&M University

We’re excited to share that REB has partnered with the next generation of industry leaders through a new collaboration with students at Texas A&M University.

REB has been participating as an industry sponsor in the Industrial Distribution senior Capstone program, where students work directly with companies to solve real world business and engineering challenges. As part of this collaboration, called Project SOAR (Storage Optimization & Analytics Reusable Framework), our team has introduced a project scenario and challenged students to create a practical, reusable tool that can support both current and future REB projects.

Over the next two semesters, REB team members will meet with the student team every other week, providing mentorship, industry insight, and feedback as they move from concept development to prototype creation. The project will conclude in December 2026, just ahead of graduation.
